AOC unleashes their affordable Q3279VWF 31.5-inch 1440p FreeSync display

What a Billy Bargain. £250 for almost 32" of 1440p goodness, and 75hz to boot.

It's also really easy on the eye. I am glad they keep their monitors looking normal, and then make stupid pictures leap out of them.

at such a good price it's a shame it's not VESA mountable for triple goodness. But then bargain price so can't complain.

But 75Hz is too little in my world. 120/144 is the sweet spot.

A monitors life is normally longer than other hardware components.
I have a 1080 ti and a 1440p 165hz monitor, but i can only do 80-90 fps in PUBG, but what about a GTX 3080 ti (Or what the name will be), then a 75Hz monitor will be = :(

Be very careful when looking at this display.

It is not new, and has been out a pretty reasonable time. It might be new for uk users, i don't know.

What blows me away here is that when i raised this as one of the possible monitors for my build, other that AlienALX, no one batted an eye and eventually other features pushed me to a similar offering from Viewsonic. Now it gets raised here as news, and wow, what a different response.

Anyway, don't want to be negative. If this is a new offering to the uk, i would be really, really, really interested in seeing this reviewed here. I have been scouring the web for weeks looking for a proper review, and the best i can find is testimonials of users.

Edit: just in case you don't believe me, you can see that it is currently in stock ready for order here.
You could also look at one of my threads on this forum, or do a Google search.

Explains why it's affordable. It's old and been in production for a while

I have a feeling it's the same as mine. My HP Envy. And yeah, it's been around for a long time. BenQ made it originally for £800 then HP made their version for half of that. It's slowly gotten faster though, as it started out at 60hz and now it's pushing 75.

I love mine.
