AOC announce AG241 series 1440p FreeSync and G-Sync monitors

That Red makes it so unattractive. At first i though, "well, its on the rear so its hidden" but then I saw the logo on the front lower part of the bezel.

No thank you :(

Yeah, 24" 1440p would be close to 32" 4K in terms of sharpness, which is really what the resolution fight is all about, without the added pain of running it at 4K or fitting a massive screen on your desk. It's cheaper too. General multi-tasking and web browsing might need some resolution scaling applied via Windows, but those with 27-29" 4K screens might choose to do that anyway.

That GSync tax stings every time I see it.

It's especially bad given how especially good Adaptive Vsync is.

Recently I had a choice. Either go with 1080p and have Gsync or ditch it and get a normal 1440p monitor (that supports Freesync by way of being the correct DP).

At first I really missed Gsync. Then I remembered Adaptive Vsync, set it globally in the Nvidia control panel and then disable Vsync in game and it's fantastic. If there is a difference I can't tell.
