Anyone used the grid+?

I'm thinking of buying one to give me finer control on my thermals and fan profiles, but i have no idea if the extra cost of one, is warranted or not.

I know the cam software is recognised as being pretty easy to use (unlike most fan controllers), but it is about twice as much as could use for different controller.

Anyone got anything ti say about one way or the other?

The Grid doesn't do PWM so if you want to control PWM use the Sentry 3 I have one on the way myself it can control 5 fans, if your fans are normal three pin the grid will control 6 fans with the cam software and it does it well I believe I had one but it was a DOA but since my fans that I want to control are PWM I swapped it for the sentry

The fans are pwm, but i was under the impression that doesn't matter unless they are also led (which mine are not).

The sentry 3 is not a viable option for me, as i do not have any externally accessible drive bays.

I'm in the same boat - I put fan speed reducers on to keep quiet and as soon as I play a game I start to throttle when the GPU's hit 80. I'm thinking Grid+ or similar so I can let the software sort it out. I have no ODD bay or i'd put my Recon back in.
