Anyone get an ABIT IN9 32X-MAX?

I haven't been terribly impressed with the EVGA 680i mobo I grabbed a couple months ago, and wondered if anyone has bought and tested ABIT's IN9 32X-MAX:yumyum: .

(Looked on Newegg and they're all sold out, but no reviews yet:rolleyes: .)

Not that i've heard of. After my experience with another 680i based board I think i'll steer clear for the moment :s

i was going to get one a long time ago if they had released it earlier than expected like they said. the dfi kicks so much sack im not even interested in it anymore.

Aye, Fragster, the DFI would be nice, but I can't run SLI on it (can I?). And after how much I like the AW9D I'm hoping the IN9 will kick some @$$ too (albeit with a different chipset). The price is way up there, so I may wait a month or six... but it sure is sexy, and I like a lot of things they did with it (still don't know why they put the damn PCI-E EZ-Plug on the bottom of the board:mad: ).

The 650i based IN9 SLI is due out mid-Feb & should be a lot cheaper.

& the 680i based DFI, altho tht wnt be cheap.

I'll be very interested to see what DFI is able to do with the 680i chipset, it might just bee the killer SLI platform.

Did some snoopin and poopin on teh google, found 'extreme systems' had a review for the IN9 MAX with a pre-production board... that seemed to get shelved pretty quick. It was pretty widely speculated that even ABIT's non-reference board wasn't going to get past the 680i chipsets faults. (Saw Frag put in a post, this board had a lot of people drooling.) Man, I hope people do some testing and show this board does better than reference...

The ABIT IN9 32X-MAX looks better and better every day... found out one of my three-pin fan headers is shot. I don't like paying good money for weak components.

Is there a watered-down version of the IN9 32X-MAX, like the vanilla AW9D to the AW9D-MAX? (Trying to shim a few bucks...)

I'm hoping that they do a "plain" IN9 32X too.

there's a 650i based IN9 SLI due out towards the end of Feb - probably half the price & 90% as good.
