Anybody used Compression fittings on a MCW60?

Specifically ones made for 1/2" ID 2/4" OD tubing. It looks like it'd be really tight if it does fit, but I was hoping that someone might have already tried it so I don't have to chance it.

its normaly 1/2id 5/8 od

I meant 3/4" OD. Basically the thick Tygon (et al) stuff.
