Are you sure you aren't thinking of small pox? That vaccine gives you the one pock on your arm from the vaccination. And most young people haven't been vaccinated as you say, the reason being the risk from the vaccine is higher than the chance of getting it.

First keep in mind that vaccination for TB is not 100% working... Vaccination fails in about 15% of the case.
Second, TB spreads easily from areo soluble particles, wheneever someone infected cougth you may get infected, but you may not developp the disease though.
Third, the guy who was flying was not flying from africa to canada and US. This guy indeed is American and was in US. His doc made a test for TB and he was asked to stay home and not travel. But he decided not to care and went to Europe, made a stop in Paris and then head up for Italy. During his trip The CDC confirmed that this guy had TB and they were looking for him to quarantine him. He was contacted while he was away and he decided to sneak back in the US cause he knew he would have been arrested at the custom and quarantined.

So the case of TB was not imported into the US from Africa, but originated from US... so I would seriously not consider this as a begining of a biological warfare.
Also TB was not eradicated from US, there are still around 10.000 to 15.000 cases per year in US and according to CDC 17 persons were infected with the drug resistant TB in US since 2000.

So im just guessing that the news in each different state and world news is all different? Leave it to the media to lie. They in fact said (and when they do i will hopefully catch with DVR) he was flying in from Africa to Canada, and drove a rental car to New York where he was takin into custody.
@Sparkchip, chill dude it was fact. He was taliban, they showed him on the news and referenced him as Iraqy. I am by no means racist at all. So you chill.
I dont let things like this worry me at all becasue i see obviously what others dont. Its obvious that the war is no over there, its over here in our own country. (Of course not obviously for the UKers) Just take a look at our economy, they are getting what they want.

I would have to agree with you that some local media may try to spread unnecessary fear among peoples with false rumors and statements... I would rather double or triple check news from different source nowadays as one media may not hold the truth or maybe just a biased view of the truth.
As some socio-analysts said... "if you keep invidividuals in fear it is easier to control them" and unfortunatly I feel that medias are playing a lot with that!
Actualy i think your very right. Ive told my dad that im going to start getting all my news from online now like Yahoo and Google and all becasue local news twists everything up so bad. I know i shouldnt be making a big deal out of this, but honestly i see a homeward war coming and its not to far away. They took the show 24 off becasue it was too close to the real thing. If the GOV is looking at stuff like that due to paranoia then it makes one wonder.

There`s somewhere in the region of 12 million illegals that have walked through Mexico->Texas over the years, to be doing anything serious about controlling the health of a nation, these things have to be born in mind.
Doesn`t it sound crazy that u arrive into a country and have to go through all kinds of security as a legitimate traveller, when u could have flown to the country next door and just walked in. (Terrorists haven`t figured that one out yet)
