Everything except the motherboard and monitor is coming from Aria, the monitor and motherboard are coming from Aria. I kinda want to get the motherboard off of Aria so if there's any good alternatives to the Extreme3 feel free to suggest them here.

Is there anything worth adding to this or anything I've missed?

I wont be buying the 7970 for a month or two, I'll probably wait to see how Kepler turns out or for it to push down prices.

So before I order this, probably tonight, tell me whatever I need to change.

If you can possibly stretch your budget, I would get an SSD to go with all that lovely hardware. The difference is night and day.

Yeah I was thinking of getting a Crucial M4 64GB a month or so afterwards and just reinstalling the OS onto it, I'm not too sure what the best SSD is but the M4 is a good price and has decent reviews.

Yeah, I've heard good things about the M4 as well. I would get the SSD first, and then if you need additional storage get the HDD later. The prices of mechanical HDD should keep dropping as the prodution levels increase after the floods in Thailand.

I'm not convinced they will, I think most places will keep prices high for a while but we'll see. That's actually a good plan though, a M4 will be fine until I have the money for an F3 - I will end up needing at least a couple of 100GB's.

Just a last minute (figuratively) bump so you guys/gals can tell me of anything before I order this. First time build so wish me luck!

Looks good imo and good luck with the build mate. From your contributions (That I've seen) to OC3D you seem to know a lot about the components that go into building a rig so I'm sure you will have no problems.

after what i've heard the asrock mobo's are horrible, the are for 14. years old wannabe gamer, who love the looks of the motherboard. i personaly would go with a asus or evga mobo. good choises are: asus p8z68 vpro gen3, maximus iv-z, evga z68 ftw/sli

and as Rastalovich is saying the vengeance ram wil not fitt inder the NH-D14, unless you buy the LP verson

Thanks, all theory and no practical though!

Will the Vengance give you clearance to fit the Noctua ?

Yeah should do, only using two sticks anyway and no plans to use four. It's LP version I've got.

After messing with an Extreme 7 Gen 3, I'd seriously poke the person in the eye who conveyed that info to you.

Good news on the memory.
