Any one got any information on this

Well I'm not sure if it's compatible but at that price I would just go with the Noctua NH-D14. I have it and TTL can vouch for that cooler too. I didn't even know Corsair had a cooler but it seems a bit expensive just by looking at it. Who knows, I'll look around for some reviews.

Ah, nothing I can find. Just looking at it though doesn't give me high hopes. Those 120mm fans are almost thicker than the heatsink itself...

yer i looked for reviews fella but to noavail, but then i have been hearing good things from the noctua, nearly £60 is quite steep, lets see how its performs i guess

The titan fenrir is a great cooler, its in the area of the TRUE, CM V8 and Noctua NH-U12P , and costs about £30 on scan (or £35 for the red and black special edition) plan to be getting it to replace this POS Freezer 7 pro, i dont think OC3D have done a review but with a quick google you can pull up a few results pretty easy.

just been looking at the noctua one, seems to get the same results as the true but only found reviews for the i7 will this cooler be better for a p2 940? i mean will it run cooler

Some results from elsewere on a Phenom 2 940 @ 3.6 with 1.6v (so an extra .15v ontop of you) give the following (temps are deg C above ambient)

Fenrir (High) - 35

Fenrir (Low) - 37

OCZ Vendetta 2 - 37

Noctua NH U12P (High) - 37

Noctua NH U12P (Low) - 39

CM V8 (High) - 39

Akasa Nero - 41

CM V8 (Low) - 44

i take it thats load?

my ambiant is 25c temps atm are between 35c-40c idle about 55c-62c load

so a titan or a noctua would suffice, ide be sticking 2 noctua fans in push/pull regardless

so in theory, what with my Vcore being lower i should expect lower temps than the ones you posted, will defo be checking this cooler out

Well just pointing out incase you didnt notice it in the ultima raptor review but OCUK are using the titan fenrir in that build and there wasnt any mention of heat problems in the review

yer i did notice, thought it was quite ironic actualy lol, only bad thing is the way i would have to mount it as ime shure the way OCUK mounted it thats the way it has to go.

lol, ahhhh ile check that out, just read some reviews and my next cooler will be the prolimtech megahalms Rev B,with the AMD mouting kit,i will be fitting 2 noctua flx fans on it in a push/pull

i should be see better temps then
