Antec Signature or Thermatake Toughpower

Hey,

I'm planning on making a ownage gaming rig, I already have everything picked out, but I'm having trouble deciding between 2 different power supplies, here's what I'll be running. (Links to the Power Supplies are at the bottom of the post)

EVGA 750i SLI FTW Edition

E8500 overclocked to 4 GHz

4 Sticks of Corsair Dominator PC-8500

2 x EVGA Core 216's SSC Editon in SLI (Same Power Usage as GTX 280)

Swiftech APEX Ultra Watercooling Kit

4 x WD 640 Gig - SATA 7200 RPM

I know both have more than enough power, and enough AMPs on the rails, but I'm not sure what's built higher quality, will stay cooler, won't get warm at peak load, has soild voltages on each rail. If anyone can tell me which is better, that's be great.

Don't judge based on price, cause I can already get these for about $140 each. Anyways, what's better and why? Thanks!

These are both great Power Supplies, so I'm stuck and can't choose. :damn:

I own a toughpower psu and I'm very satisfied..

If those 2 are your choices I'ld let price be the determining factor.

I'd take the ThermalTake, I have a TT PSU at the moment and it has lasted me three years, and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of tiredness. They're solid PSUs, highly recommended!

For the price of the TT you can get the 1KW Corsair HX.

Or you can save yourself some cash and go for the CoolerMaster RealPower RS-850.

get 1 280GTX instead of two 260's? Or a 4870X2..

As for PSU get the 1KW corsair.. But at that price most PSU's are pretty similar.

All of you, I can get these both for $140, so I can't get the Corsiar 1k.

Also, the Core 216 SSC is just as fast as the GTX 280, and is only $310 compared to $400 or higher, and no, I'm sticking with this one. I'm nolt wanting to spend $800 on graphics.

Anyways, the Thermatake is much more modular, but doesn't look as nice, and from idle to load the volatges on the rails vary from about 0.06 volts, on the Antec it's 0.01 to 0, a little more sloid, not like it's much, buy I hear the antec is a little more solid. It's also all black so'd match my case better, and it looks nicer.

But the TT is much more modular, and has more connectors.

Well, then our help is not very usefull Basically you either go with modularity and less accuracy on the voltage or looks and better accuracy..

They are both rock solid performers.

Just pick the one that appeals to you the best. Say the black one so it suits your case.
