Antec Launches their Silent Guardian Chassis - A Silent Case with 8 HDD Mounts

We could do with more Fractal Design "rip offs" tbh, sleek minimalist black boxes should be as ubiquitous as the messes of meshes we often get imo.

Well, yeah. If you're gonna copy someone else's work, at least copy from the best.

And it's not THAT different from the old Antec 1100, just with less mesh and more dampening.

Just to respond to the comments that Antec has ripped fractal designs cases off. When was the last time that Fractal released a case that served the needs of people who need lots of HDDs?

The Fractal R6 released in late 2017 and moved to an NZXT H440-style HDD mounting system, supporting six 3.5-inch drives at stock with the ability to support more with add-ons (which are really hard to buy now). The Fractal R5, released in early 2016, which supported eight 3.5-inch drives.

If Fractal isn't going to release something new for this niche it makes sense for somebody else to try. Fractal doesn't have a monopoly on the "lots of HDD space" case world. The Antec mounting system is also very different from what Fractal uses.
