Antec Kuhler 620

So I finally decided that stock cooling wasn't enough any more and bought an Antec Kuhler 620 for £44 from Dabs. Fitting it was a huge pain. It took me a good 40 minutes to realise that they had included the wrong mount for it.

I'm waiting for antec to get back in touch about the right brackets and such.

What kind of temp change can I be look forward to?

E5300 @ 3ghz 35c idle mid to high 60's under load with the stock cooler.

You can expect low 30's idle and low 60's under load.

So not much of a change then. At least I can overclock higher now.

If you can, replace the fans and run push/pull. Corsair SP120's would be a good choice. This will shave off another 5 degrees or more from the load temps. When I was running my 620 I went from 60 to 53 just by adding another fan.

I have couple more 120's lying around. I asked antec really nicely for a few free fans. I hope they are nice to me.

The Antec fans are loud and annoying when they spin up. You would be better off spending a little extra on some SP120 quite edition fans. They will perform a lot better and be much quieter.
