Hi guys. Yup, thats it again. X99 killing cpus, or faulty Asus X99 board. Really, at this time, i dont know. I dont have spare CPU nor Mobo to test. So my Sabertooth worked about 4 months pared with a 6800k, some usb issues here and there, but the board was ok. Three days ago, my wife was surfing facebook, when suddently the pc shuts down. Then, tried to boot it. No sucess. The board seens to activate some protective measurement, as it turns on and right after, when detecting CPU, it shut downs, and starts again. So i tried everything so far, another PSU (mey antec 1000 HCP platinum is indeed with some weird issue, tested it on my brothers rig, sabertooth z270, and the boards shuts down exactly the same way, but with another PSU it posts ok, but this same PSU wont make MY rig to post, same issue), tried reflash bios several times, tried with no ram stick, with ram, no good. The only way the board keeps on is with no CPU i place, so it obviously shows no CPU error. Anyone has ever encountered some similar issue? I will try another PSU to see if it resolves, as with my antec and my brothers XFX it wont...but if no sucess, will RMA the CPU, so they can dectect if its a dead CPU. Advices are welcome. Thx community!
