Sounds like a great idea, but I really don't trust the Tor network at all. Just because of all of the illegal stuff it is used for.
 
How would hooking it in line between a single computer and your router safeguard all devices accessing the network? Or is this capable of being plugged in between modem and router?
 
I'm in the same boat as MadShadow. If you really want to hide what you're doing, via the Tor network, it must be pretty wrong OR you must be pretty paranoid.
 
I'm pretty sure you can turn a raspberry pi into a encrypted router at a fraction of the cost.

Though the benefits for people with restricted internet access is cool but I do agree with others regarding paranoid or up to no good.
 
I would get this. Though i don't see much use since if anyone is capable of hacking into my network, don't think an encrypted router will stop them from doing so.
 
I like that they focus on making it small and easily destroyable/disposable for people living under oppressive regimes.
