Android Updates, Really Worth It?

Does anybody get any find anything bad occasionally when Android updates are released? My Xperia Z has a new found system update this morning but I'm holding off installing it because sometimes updates don't always do good, are their many cases of this happening with Android?

It seems I can hold it off anyway, it didn't require me to take any action unlike the Galaxy S3 which asks you to be prompted again in an hour, in so many hours or whatever etc.

Ive just updated to 4.3 and apart from around the signal bar area now being transparent Ive not seen any difference.

Im only hoping gallery will stop slowing down on this update :p

What handset you got mate, was it the Galaxy S4?

Gallery runs fine on the Xperia Z, although I've only got like ten pictures in it and I'm guessing you have tons.

I don't think it's 4.3 for the Xperia, maybe 4.2 but they are listed as like A.H.3.10.1.A or something rather than just being 4.3

running 4.3 on Nexus 4, no issues at all.

If 4.2 is being offered go for it, it's a great release.

Cheers SieB, just reading through them now. Only seems to be that one guy there with the latest version. I'll just get it, but I hope they don't release a new one soon. Samsung went through a point of releasing one at least every week for a month, used to get sick of it.

I'm running cm 10.1.3 on my htc one x. I tried out the 10.2 nightly but it was far to buggy. If it's a update from sony then i would say it should be ok. i gave up with htc software when 4.3 came out and I still didn't have 4.2 :/

My contract runs out and can update on the 10th...waiting for the Specs on the new NOTE 3 when it's unvailed :)
