Android 5.0 Lollipop: What's New

Better than the S5 for sure. I can't stand my parents S5. I wanted to throw the phone within 5mins of using it. Just felt so cluttery. M8 on the other hand was super simple and its Blinkfeed page is actually useful I use it constantly.

And customization?
Yes I know but the S5 feel really light I had a chance to play with it when it came out. Not my cup of tea. I'll rather go for the Note range but I wonder how your m8 compare to the LG G3 because I got a lot of beef to go with the m8 and I didn't.

Well still no OTA updates here on either 2012 or 2013 versions of the Nexus 7, so have Stock installed 5.0.0 on the 2013 version also (Currently rebooting for first time, will have to OEM lock this one as it the other half's).

I know they are rolling out, but they certainly do take their time to send out the updates :p

Yeah, Tiered update and all...

I just tried out the RAW format for the camera and I'm damn impressed...

I used the app "L Camera" https://github.com/PkmX/lcamera which lets me export my photos as .dng (raw file) as well as manually adjust exposure (1/1.2 min, 1/16000 max) and focus.
Additionally it allows me to take Full-Sensor videos (3264x2448p) at 30fps... THIRTY FPS! That's damn near 4k resolution (3840x2160) and my Nexus 5 shoots it @ 30fps... Really cool I must say.

So far I greatly enjoy Android 5.0

Custimzation is just like any other andriod phone. Doesn't come with a lot of bloatware from the carrier though.

That is a pain in the ass!! Reali hate it. My phone is red of all the vodacom apps

You won't regret it. Anything you don't like about it?

Ya it is thats why i hate Samsung phones. Mine UI is simplistic and straightforward and imo the easiest to use of all the Andriod phones i have come across. HTC already are finishing up their update for 5.0 and is supposed to be out within a month or two.

LOL, everyone just say positives about the G3. One girl at my school just take pictures with my phone
EDIT: sorry its for ibeinspire... So you love your HTC

G3 has a lot of options but after a month or two it becomes what you want it to be, keyboard and google talk

Root the phone and remove all bloatware or move to a custom rom.

Not to be a scary pants but Doesn't that interfere with your contract or insurance? I simple uninstalled it and the things i cant uninstall I hide. No ram or memory problem on the 32GB version. Still have my 8Gb of my N8

It's been brilliant so far, every time I find something cool I fall in love all over again. My only issue is a small amount of noise in the left channel of headphone out, but according to some threads it's an issue with andriod KitKat, and not the G3... all the more reason to be excited for Lolipop.

Oh idk kind of love the quadbeats 2 but my problem is only the charge/usb input but all in all it is brilliant. I love how the keyboard fall in to your type of writing and suggest words you usually say even if it isn't a dictionary word.

I actually turned off the autocorrect completely, since I use a lot of slang when messaging mates. But that's what I love about the phone, doing anything to make it more personal for you is so easy.

Makes me a lazy person=00=. I would unnecessary spell wrong just to see it work or i speak just to see it in words.

Yeah all the voice stuff is utterly epic. Pulling out my phone saying ''ok google bla bla bla'' and seeing people eyes open like 0_0 is an amazing feeling.
