AMD's Zen and Intel Kaby lake CPUs are reportedly delayed

Don't believe the AMD delay. You can't claim it's delayed and then not saay why. Who started that rumor? If he's(or she) is getting paid to make up stuff I'd love to get that job too.

AMD have said it's this year. Q4. So we would need other reports of bad yields or flooded stock of FX CPUs. But we know those aren't true. So don't see how someone can claim this unless they have inside information.. But then why wouldnt you make that statement? I can believe Intel delaying stuff. They have had such a hard time lately with 14nm. So much so they aren't on Moore's law anymore.

Intel delaying Kaby Lakes launch due to excess Haswell and Skylake stock

The excess Haswell stock is probably because most motherboards are out of production now. Over here in the UK, trying to get a Z97 mATX or Mini ITX brande new (Which I wanted ironically) is near impossible. Besides the pricing is ridiculous, why would anyone want a 4790K when they can get a 6700K for about £10 more?

That and it would also help if Intel released a CPU that had a decent performance increase to warrant the cost.

Aw c'mon! Delayed again? I'm dying to see these new Zen chips. Postponed my rig overhaul when word of Zen popped up last year. Waited til this spring then told to wait til this winter now we're going to ask to NEXT spring? Hopefully this is a BS rumor.
