Fry's US price AMD's Ryzen 7 8-core 1700X at $389.99, pricing that is very close to previous leaks. This is less than the price of Intel's 6-core i7 6800K.

Thinking the 1700X may be the one for me. The 1800X seems to offer minimal gains for $100 extra (according to leaks), gains which are hopefully achievable with strong overclocking!
