AMD's Phenom™ Processor

Tbh, looking to buy a beast l8 november, on the cards at the moment I`m planning on blowing stupid cash on an ott Intel quad.
Now, if some1 who`s opinion I can respect, like Kemp for example, gets an AMD phenominum, and can qualify it as better than it`s Intel equiv. I`ll switch my line of thought.
So, my next question is : looking at a time frame of l8 november, will this give me enough time to get a great review to read from OC3D and judge for mehself - OR - am I gonna be in the shizzle, get an Intel one.. then OC3D`s review comes in December and I go mad about the house with a rubber mallet ?
... and chances are datelines get put back ...
So.. Kemp u reckon u`ll be inline to get u`r hands on one of these by october ?

EDIT: and more to the point, what are Abit doing about a board - cos I don`t fancy buying any other make tbh.

Interesting, but I'm gunning for the Q6600 @ $266 personally in July. Looks too good to pass up unless the Phenom is incredible... I plan on selling my E6600 C2D in a few weeks to help pay for it.
