AMD's flagship Threadripper CPU has appeared on Geekbench

Well if an Ivybridge Xeon (8c 16t) can score 10% slower than Ryzen with a 30+% clock speed defacit then it clearly just loves Intel.

It's crap. Seriously, crap. The only time I ever found Geekbench useful was comparing Intel CPUs on the OSX platform. It doesn't use clock speed for most of the test. Seriously, open your task manager open peformance and watch your clocks and the load.

All I've ever gotten from RedGamingTech's intro is "in this rim gaming seta cum video" ^_^

He's been asked plenty of times "Why not just say it slightly slower and with full words" XD

Well actually a 1700X at 3.97GHz up against a 5GHz 7700K isn't as terrible and doomed as you make it out to be, After all the bios/microcode updates it can match and/or beat a 7700K at 5GHz with high speed ram, Not in all games but a good chunk of them.

Where did you find these results?

MindBlank Tech on YouTube, He goes into a lot of detail in his videos, I copied his memory speeds and timings and got the same results so it is legit.

Yeah, you see that's the funny thing. Some people get the same results while others don't. I thought it was MindBlank because he's been at the forefront of Ryzen performance bettering Kaby Lake, but many other trusted sites don't share the same results.

It's only a select few games. And Frostbite 3 loves cores. It's kinda a perfect example

I don't mean BF1 specifically. I only quoted that one because the forum doesn't have a spoiler tag and I didn't want all the images reposted. The other games (minus Crysis 3) have regularly (though not always, which is the confusing part) shown the 7700K beating the 1700.
