AMD's AM4 motherboards are rumoured to launch in October

Zen looks interesting and hopefully is close to the claims that AMD have made, I hope it's not another Bulldozer.

You know he works at Tesler now right? He left AMD aaaaages ago.

Yeah :) he basically did what he had to do then went off in search of adventure elsewhere. I mean, why would AMD pay him when he's done what they asked?

TBH I have faith that he did it right. Of course they could monumentally mess it up but that would be pretty hard. The issue with Bulldozer was the design. AMD did everything to refine it but it just stank from the very beginning really.

The lack of real competition & decent oneupmanship isn't stopping innovation, thank goodness, but it usually brings down costs..............come on you reds
(still intelligreen thru & thru tho)

To by fair, the manufacturers did implement a solution :D

PCI-E 3.0 didnt really matter until recently anyways. Doubt many people who needed the bandwidth PCI-E 3.0 provided would have gone with AMD in the first place.

To be 100% percent honest I think AMD will knock it out of the park with Zen. Kaveri and Godvari have seen some real performance points I think Zen will improve on this.
