The specification of some of AMD's early Zen Silicon have been leaked online, with a quad-core and octo-core variants for the AM4 socket and 24 and 32 core CPUs for the server markets.

That wattage though... did they learn nothing from the 9590..


I can't possibly see what's wrong with the 9590, it was the best thing a college student could buy, intel couldn't offer something that would serve as a room heater too for that price :p:D

95W for a 8 core desktop @3.2Ghz ? that seems pretty cool for me, it's not on the level of intel CPU, but hey ! they have something like 10 time less money for R&D than intel......
the 180W thingy is only for pro, its like the Xeons, some have a very high TDP
EDIT : someone knows if the big AM4 is 8 real cores or 4 cores +HT ?
