How has AMD screwed up so much cause 10 years ago AMD was kicking Intel bottom.
Plus lets not forget only releasing like 100 Fury X units for the whole of the UK, Around 700 for the US etc etc...
You got a source for those figures?
The American sales figure is from one of the Linus WAN shows were he quotes the total sales of north America, I'm not gonna dig through 10 hours of footage to find it and the UK units is from Gibbo of OCUK who is in charge of buying GPU's and vendor relations who stated how many the UK got, Again that's from the Fury X thread which is 100+ pages long, Feel free to go through it
Both could have been exaggerations but if true it's kind of bad.
Ah Linus, a true bastion of unbiased information. I've never trusted him. I've been following THAT thread but I probably missed it, I'll try and find it later on. Gibbo is much more likely to be on the ball. I'd be suprised if it was that low though.
There are other vendors who get stock in through other ways. Regardless, either AMD didn't expect anyone to buy them or they launched very early. I really hope that they've sorted their stuff out in time for the other launches. It'd be nice to get a card when I pay for it. IF I get one of them that is.
Personally I am planning on getting one but I'm going to wait until September as that's the next time all my wages are my own again ^_^
