AMD The Fixer Part 2

I like this one so much better than the previous one. It just seems much more mature to actually advertise your own product (in a somewhat funny way) than to just bash your competitor into the ground.

These adverts are terrible.

And I'm not too sure what I think of the free game thing either... I mean, Aria's been giving away 3 games with a 7770... I'm pretty sure 3 top end games are better than a single game that you can choose (...only out of a list of like 8 anyway)

Even with the 7970s, getting 3 free games of choice - you used to get 6 games anyway (even more on some of the deals).

I find it very odd that they're making such a big advertising campaign out of this 'choice' factor, when it's actually a worse deal than we were getting before.

^Cause advertising your product as 'Not as good as before' doesn't work very well...

Yeah, obviously - but they just shouldn't be paying extra to publicise the new deal massively...

They could quite easily just change the banners and integrate it without people really noticing it so much.

Take the iPads for example - between the iPad 3 and 4, Apple at least realised there was next to no difference between the two and just quietly phased the 3 out to bring in the 4 - they didn't go down a massive advertising campaign to advertise there being a new model.

Anyone with half a brain, who's seen the old offer will know this is worse - and advertising it as much as they have just draws attention to that fact.

Let's be honest though, AMD have never been good at advertising imo.

Obviously the game bundles work well but if you create an advertisement where you only focuss on bashing Nvidia without even properly explaining the specs/features of your own product, you're just doing it wrong in my opinion.

While i dislike adverts which simply badmouth your competitors, i do find these adds hilarious.
The AMD firmi ad remains my favorite
