Most of the tech press are bent... unless you agree with them, in which case, they are legit.

TechSpot article was written by same people behind HWU. HWU review said that the 7800 XT was the "obvious option" compared with the 4070 since it was $100 cheaper. The 7800 XT Also made the 6800 XT redundant.

But they helpfully showed how amazing it would be if it were $450. So again, the 7800 XT was a decent card (though not great) according to the tech press.
