Dicehunter Resident Newb Monday at 1:53 PM #2 I doubt it'll do much for gaming as it's still 2 separate CCD's so latency for gaming loads will still be a factor. I think this chip is just a "look what we can do" before Zen 6 launches.

N NeverBackDown AMD Enthusiast Monday at 4:34 PM #3 Yes they are still separate but each CCD getting it's own L3 cache, 96MB, is still quite a big deal in terms of overall latency. If it's improving IPC I doubt it'll be much but it should help sensitive workloads be more consistent.
