AMD Ryzen 7 1700X CPU benchmarks leak

8c 16t Xeon @ 3.4ghz.

I just about beat a stock 6800k which makes it quite believable, as I have two more cores and more cache to offset the IPC.

If this is true. Oh daaaaaaamn.

1700X isn't even the top Ryzen CPU.

On another forum I post on we did the Blender test. Nobody could match Ryzen. Not even with a 5820k at 4.6ghz. It was close, but yeah, couldn't match it.

And this test seems to check out OK too. I scored right about where I should.

Right now it's looking like Ryzen is seriously quick.

As always we will have to wait for independent reviews etc before we can truly know what is going on, though to say the least, I am excited to see how Ryzen performs over a wide range of applications.

Here's hoping that I can test Ryzen out for myself sometime, I would love to see how the quad-cores compare when gaming especially.

Careful !!!!!!!!!!!!!

When clicking on cpu mark compression benchmark image browser is asking for my login and password although I'm already logged in !!!!!! Can someone chceck it

Is there somewhere on oc3d that I can report it?

Calm down mate WYP will see your comment and check, it's just the link to one of the pictures is wrong, nothing bad at all

Also my body is so ready for this, I'm buying an SR7 for day one and will post various benchmarks once it's built

The link has been fixed. Apologies for the issues.

I am never one for saying I told you so but

I told you so :P
Always knew something great was on the HoRyzen.

Well in the majority of tests it still falls far short of the 6900K BUT it's good to see it matching and sometimes beating the 6 core part :)

True but according to this post from last week it would appear the 1700X is meant to go up against the 7700K/6800K. So does it really need to beat the 6900K since according to that same post the 1800X is meant to go up against the 6900K? Plus it is mentioned in this post that it is an engineering sample, is running on a low-end MSI motherboard, and the RAM timings which all maybe effecting the scores.

I know, I never said otherwise.

You will crumble for this long before Vega comes along dude.

I won't. I'd only get it if I could sell my current setup.
Thing is, whoever upgrades to this, also has to upgrade Windows 10. You're key won't be activated with a new cpu and motherboard. So it raises it's overall cost quite a bit too.

So VideoCardz provided a link to the trial version of Performance Test 9.0 so I went ahead and downloaded it and selected this Ryzen CPU as one of the Baselines. Below is a link to an imgur gallery I made showing only my stock 6700k vs this Ryzen CPU, that we all suspect is the 1700X. They didn't have a baseline for the i7 7700k otherwise I would have added it.

For anyone that doesn't want to click the link, for whatever reason, it got a higher score in everything but Single-threaded and Physics, and in physics I only beat by it 4 points.

I'm really tempted to upgrade. Idk though.. this or Vega...

Meh... Vega looks boring in comparison. Still pumped for Vega, but I'm not blown away.

I was under the impression a genuine retail copy of Windows will transfer between upgrades. You just have to call Microsoft and tell them you've upgraded your motherboard and CPU.

Thanks for that.

Well see we don't have keys anymore, not sure how it would work out.
Vega looks boring because we know next to nothing. All the leaks and focus is on Zen
