Benchmarks for AMD's upcoming Ryzen 1600X have leaked, revealing exactly how well AMD's new 6-core, 12-thread CPU can perform.

Good to see this cpu performing well as this is the one I'm most interested in personally
I still take it with a pinch of salt, BUT i cannot deny it is looking very likely my trusty old ivy bridge is getting replaced this year in favor for a ryzen cpu.
The last product/price stack looked spot on to me. I also think I am in agreement with AdoredTV, these leaks are deliberate. Sort of like a way for AMD to dangle the carrot to make sure people pay attention on release day.
I'm still quite torn personally. I guess if I did upgrade my 5820k at least I wouldn't have to buy any memory which is a bonus.
I won't jump on it on day one though. Got a couple of lean months coming up any way, which should give me time to analyse it all properly and make the right decision. I just don't think I need it, which does make me kinda sad![]()
25 - 50% be realistic dude, that's never going to happen and if by some miracle they did pull it off you'd be paying through the nose for such an increase in performance. So Intel would then become the affordable underdog..Until AMD comes out with a CPU that beats Intel bye 25-50% until then i'm not even interested.
Until then i will be sticking with Intel.

Well 25-30% then.
From what i have read over the last couple of days seems like a lot of people are trying to write Intel off. Which is not going to happen i still believe that Intel does have something coming that will answer this.
Same again if this makes me a Fanboy B.F.D. it's the way i feel.
Yes there will be people buying AMD and there still WILL be people buying Intel.
Yes i'm a jerk but at least i'm honest about it.
They already have stuff to counter it, it's the X series, but they're priced at silly money which is why AMD being back in the game is a good thing.weather you are or are not buys a Ryzen cpu is irrelevant, the fact Intel will have competition will affect you regardless an you will benefit from it.
Every Manufacturer vs Thermaltake.
Hah! This perked me up.
I'm not even talking about CannonLake or CoffeeLake i'm talking about IceLake & TigerLake.
Those two CPU's i believe that they are going to spank whatever AMD has coming after Ryzen.
I think AMD will not have an answer for those two CPU's and Intel will beat AMD to 7nm.
So you're talking about two products that are at least 2 years away, and about AMD's revisions of the Ryzen architecture both of which are completely unknown. Ok well why not just keep it in the here and now and what's actually happening, as that's what is being discussed and what is happening. Sorry if it comes across rude it's not ment to be, but talking about future products that know one has a clue on is detracting from what's actually happening.
