AMD is rumored to be making a Bristol Ridge APU with the GPU performance of an R7 370 and 2x the GPU cores of any previous desktop APU.

Get another 370 to go along with it and in Dx12 both should be recognized. That way you get a very cheap yet more than decent gaming machine.
 
You could probably pair it with the 370x which has better clock speeds and better at overclocking. Although it would probably have to be the first gpu to be used before the internal one. Don't know if it would work, but even if it doesn't that still is quite a cheap yet powerful(relative to price) gaming system.

If its true then its nice to see that they are widening the increasingly smaller performance gap with Intels integrated grahpics.
 
Now if only they could get better cpu cores to help them maintain that gap.

We have not seen what Excavator on the desktop is capable of really, though from what I know it mostly has a lot of power efficiency gains, hence why it was released on mobile.

Hopefully you can overclock the CPU well, if indeed these rumors turn out to be true.

It's still not enough compared to say an i3 CPU. While I don't doubt it is faster than last gen, still not enough tbh. Efficiency doesn't really matter for this chip since it's not a notebook class chip(although that would be very cool!)
