AMD Reveals the Full Specifications of their Ryzen 3rd Generation Lineup

Where is that 16 core that everybody has been mumbling on about ?

Considering some of the info regarding the X570 boards, MSI I believe, Said something today during the MSI briefing about the VRM being ready for 16 core designs, I'd like to know too.

Question is when will the new X570 motherboards launch and/or be announced?... More specifically ASUS?

The new X570 board will launch on the 7th of July Asus will eventually be launching 32 Ryzen boards which will no doubt include B series boards next year but not all boards will be launched in July

The Asus ones were shown at computex and it looks like Asus has finally put some real effort into the aesthetic of AMD boards, Basically matching their Intel boards design quality.

Crosshair VIII Extreme on the far left, Crosshair VIII Hero on the right, Names are probably incorrect as it's just guess work on my part, I'm not too sure what the other 2 small ones are called.

Interesting and most interested in the bigger one to the far right... Just wondering if they will make a similar board in an mATX size?

To me the bottom one looks like mDTX(mITX+1 slot) or something, or do they make reduced width mATX boards nowadays? Should be the same width as an ATX board if standard.

Unfortunately not, since mATX form factor has 4 slots for the RAM, not 2 as the one in the picture shows.

There's no specified numbers of RAM slots for an mATX board though, many have 2 slots and always have, you have to look at the PCI slots.

Patiently waits for Tom to review everything for real world figures before pulling the trigger on a new 3700X build.

I'm buying regardless of reviews, just to spit in Intels face, again. :D Heck I don't use the cores I have NOW, so why NOT buy more useless computing power, LOL!

I predict threadripper to have a core range from 16-24. No reason to go higher. Don't want to ruin Epyc pricing

They wouldn't go under 32 cores, that wouldn't look good. Lisa Su also hinted in an interview that Threadripper's core counts would go up with Zen 2. I'm thinking a 48 core is likely.

How would that look bad? It's still a big increase over original threadripper and far above anything Intel has plus there is little point in encroaching in Epycs space. You're just overlapping to many of your own products. You must be forgetting Threadripper was a 16/32t CPU at best. 24/48 is a massive increase and not many consumers need more
