I'm a good chunk suspicious of PCWorld because of what they did with hiding things in their Vega review...

That was scripted and they had been told what to say. Why do I know that? because them saying "They couldn't tell the difference" and all that BS had already been said by some one at AMD ages ago. It was shortly after "The performance is very nice !".

When you got a s**t product you hide it. However with Ryzen there is nothing to hide. Sure the clocks on them are a bit lame but the actual CPU is bloody fantastic. Lisa's job is much easier than the poor sod working in the GPU department I know that much.

I'm excited to see how well threadripper performs compared to the 17/1800x

Well for gaming I doubt there will be an improvement. If we get any it's because of the extra cache it has. But I don't think it will provide much.
For non gaming purposes, it will be a monster:p

Second thought... for gaming and streaming it would also be a monster of a chip. Could run some insane streaming settings while playing super demanding games and I don't think it'll care

Star Citizen is going to love it as Mark Abent from RSI stated " So the more cpu cores you got, the faster the game is going to run, basically taking full charge of multicore.......everything"

I'll believe it when I see it. All they do is make promises to end up rarely delivering.. and when they do it's years later.
