Low and behold I stand corrected. Wasn't a big issue and fixes actually work.

Performance doesn't change either, except in games where they added that 3% performance increase. And as stated in that article, 6pins are overbuilt. Capable of pulling more than 8amps per pin, which is better than the total(as in whole slot)5.5amps PCI-SEG sets. So as I said, it's still in spec and more so with compatability mode on.

Doesnt stop people from complaining when they use it was low quality components or old components and they get burnt. Too bad.
