odd results since im pretty sure that AMD claimed that the 390x would outperform the 295x2... maybe It was just another "rumor" - either way nice performance!

I really hope these are legit. AMD needs a beast of a card like this to compete with team Green.
Power Consumption still on the high side it seems though.

I sincerely got trouble with those graphs (like the SSD ones).

I know those cards are optimized for UHD/4K, but performing better on 4K (8.3M pixel resolution) benchmarks vs qHD (4M pixel resolution)? (+9 fps for 390X, +10 fps on Titan X)

There's a big problem right there...

The memory seems a little odd to me, 4GB ?

8GB should start to be the norm IMO, Hell I've seen Shadow of Mordor use 8.30GB at 1440P max settings on my work mates Titan X rig.

^ +1... I agree, 8GB should start to be the new norm or standard in graphics card, especially considering and looking at how rapidly games in terms of graphics are evolving and getting more and more power hungry for VRAM.

The game adjusts itself around the amount of vram. It won't max it out, it'll just use as much as it can. For most people with the ultra texture pack and 4gb vram it seems to use 3.5GB. I do agree with you though 6/8gb should start to be the norm.

I think this is all BS as I'm sure they'd do an 8gb card as standard, maybe the 390 will have 4 or 6 and that'll be what separates the two? AMD have always been the ones to put more vram in their cards, atleast with the last two generations. I doubt they'd skimp on it now, especially seeing that the 8GB card was the card to have for 4k (if you didn't have a hardon for Nvidia) pre Titan.

I can't believe it till it's really official, but if this is right then well done AMD, good freakin job! *slow clap*

I do like how it's only *just* better than a Titan X in these.. how.. quaint

The power numbers indicate a more plausible leak, but we'll see soon enough!

The new series of GPUs is apparently to launch at Computex, so not long now! ^_^

Graphs are indeed probably fake. The 4k performance is out of the spot. Now, about the vram, dont forgetcthe fact that amd will use hbm with much higher bandwidth, which coupled with some sort of smart compressing algorithm of some sort might actually result in the card being a le to run at 4k or qhd with less vram. I dunno, possiblities are enendless, and its fini so its new. Poser consumption is improved for amd compared to thd previous models, so itsdefinately better. Anyway, it all goes down to computex.

EXACTLY! i noticed that too, seems abit fishy

The chart is a percentage of performance difference to the 290X, not a framerate. With that in mind, the charts are possible.
