AMD has published patches that add support for Polaris 12 to the AMDGPU DRM kernel on Linux, once again confirming that the company has an unreleased Polaris-based GPU.

Read more on AMD's Polaris 12 GPU.

They have been tight lipped about it. Probably a refresh coming alongside Vega? Or a dual GPU card alongside Vega.

Maybe both. Dual Polaris 10 is almost as powerful as a 1080. If there is a dual Polaris GPU, I feel like Vega 10 would in turn be more powerful than the 1080 as AMD don't want their two GPU's to step on each other's feet.

I agree, AMD is known for refreshing per generation and they typically do release their dual GPU cards in April. Seeing as how Vega may very well be the 500 series, we could be seeing RX5 series cards in June.

No clue when Vega will release. I just think it'll be end of Q1 or start of Q2 going by rumors. I also just don't see why they would release a CPU and GPU at the same time. Couple months apart should do it I would feel.
Polaris 12 I am fairly certain won't be a Dual GPU. I think AMD is just leaking bad information just so when it does reveal, we'll be stunned by what it is.

I watched this video again and Raja does mention the possibility of a new Polaris chip. I've heard people say Polaris 12 is going to be around GTX 1050 performance.

I was also reminded about this article by TPU regarding Vega 20 being a 7nm refresh of Vega 10. This is one of the articles that people are basing the idea that Vega 11 is to replace Polaris.
