Why wouldn't it? It's two brand new Fury X cores.. it would be still be expensive if it was two 980ti cores as well

TBH i think this was more of a showcase to show that AMD can keep these cards cool enough in such a small space and having 2 in there was to emphasis that. It shows that they are actually improving. That's how I viewed it at least

If they only made a handful then $5000 would seem alright. It's intel because AMD know no one would buy it otherwise, hopefully their now Zen chips change that

By the time Zen is released the Fury X will be just an old, power hungry card

This reminds me of the mac pro design wise. I guess its because of all the cooling being lumped into one bit.

I was really not expecting this. Good on AMD for not having everything 'leaked'.
