I don't really care about fram gen, but I am glad Sony and MS are pushing AMD to hurry up and get their software in order.

I don't really care about fram gen, but I am glad Sony and MS are pushing AMD to hurry up and get their software in order.

I think it's more about pooling resources so that they don't need to fight Nvidia separately. They can build a better AI model together than separately, and they don't need to spend resources duplicating efforts.

The upside is that AMD will be forced to act faster and do better, and they will have help achieving that. They have a lot of work to do before RDNA 5 and the next generation of consoles releases.
