Hey fellow overclockers.
I've got a nifty little 955. Cost next to nothing 8 months ago, been running since then at 1.45v @4Ghz rock solid, passed several 12hr burn ins and a 24hr straight one with Prime 95, played through hours and hours of crazy intensive games no issues, hitting around 52 Degrees C with my CM-V6GT. Well 3 days ago I thought about trying 4.2 1.475, well 24hrs later running P95, no issue, temps a couple degrees higher, been playing through BF3 on ultra etc, stable as.
All Phenom II's I've had or really seen struggle to pass that 800Mhz Overclock barrier.
BTW I got this chip to post at 4.7GHz, and had a geekbench run at 4.5
I'm sure with some better cooling this chip would go quite far.
