AMD Mobo With PCI-E 3.0?

Anyone know of any motherboards that support the new PCI-E 3.0 ports?

As the only ones I can currently find are the the Intel Motherboards

Any suggestions or info would be very helpful

that is why I thought I would ask if anyone knows of any information regarding it ... as I personally have heard rumors that AMD are going to be releasing their own PCI-E 3.0 motherboards. But because the PCI-E 3.0 is based from intel, they have to get permission of Intel first or something before they are allowed to roll out their own spin on it

now that i think about it, there arent any lol

i think intel has some copyright(or whatever) on the pcie3 and until amd pays a very very huge sum onto intels account we probably wont see it sometime soon

@ Krangence,

Are you actually planning on running 2x 79xx/680s or 7990/690? Because it won't make a difference unless you are. And even then in the worst case scenario you won't notice the fps hit

You cant patent something like PCIe speeds, that would be like bugatti patenting 230mph. They may have a patent on the tech they use to achieve 3.0, but you cant patent the speed itself.

basically 3.0 support is both ondie and onboard AMD hasnt produced any 3.0 boards yet nor afaik 3.0 on chip support so basically and in a nutt shell NO AMD isnt supporting 3.0 yet.
