AMD has now lost almost all of its majority market share to Intel in the x86 workstation segment. It appears to be a do-or-die situation for AMD now...Barcelona (workstation) and Agena/Phenom (desktop) processors must be something special.
This was pretty inevitable TBH. AMD has their head stuck so far up their arse it's almost unbelievable. Somehow I no longer think that the new architecture will be as good as Core either =/. I hope AMD can pull a rabbit out of a hat.
