Intel definitely have all the incentive they need to do better. The question now is if they can.

Reminds me of the Pentium 3 and 4 days. AMD was faster with games, until the Core series came out from Intel. Only difference now is Intel had the server market for years that kept them going. Gaming sales were big, but nothing like it is today.
