Sadly for the UK we need to add 20% VAT to that figure that makes it around ~£450. They'll most likely round up to £500 since they can considering current reference nVidia 780 prices. However you're usually right they simply swap out the currency and laugh their way to the bank.

yeah i thought as much ah well looks like i will have to pay for bf4, will wait an see what price they drop at an what nvidia do with their prices

Bad thing to say tbh,I have friends with 780 Classy and 7970,and they boyh have MEGA probs,whereas me and my old volt'd 400 card run the game smooth as hell.(I personally think it is something to do with the boost on new cards)

I'll get FRAPS on the rig, but everything was on Ultra, 4x MSAA. I was praying as I hit save that my rig wouldn't lag out of the options but it ran absolute perfect. If others are having issues with a 7970 maybe it's just Beta bad luck?
When BF3 came out, top rigs wouldn't run it well, I think you just need to be lucky. The BF4 Beta thread has some FPS scores up from the lads. SuB had two 580s and he's getting about 55 on Ultra. I know it's SLi with two 3GB cards, but surely them not being the newest cards around counts for something, yet he's still running it fine.
It has to be the Beta if a 780 has issues running it. That card would laugh at the game.

On Tech of Tomorrow youtube channel they have BF4 beta benched on a 780 running at 73 avg fps on ultra @ 1080p.
They do mention bugs and glitches (as you'd expect from beta) but 73 fps average ain't bad at all on the highest settings.

If there were official benchmarks & price listing then yes I certainly would have by now. Preordering a ~£500 card based purely on rumours is a little silly... unless I've missed the information. If I have please point me to it
I will get one r9 290x after the 15th or 780 should nVidia drop their prices by a good margin.
Then there is the xfx 290x model to consider. Very sleek, very nice ^_^ .. very xfx :dammit:

The 290x is supposed to be about 10% faster than a titan and as cheap as a 780. So ya worth it lol
After market coolers will take time to come out.. hopefully they can cool this beast!

also the GTX 780 Classy is on sale for £560, i dont think you lot realise how tempted i am!! that card is a fucking beast! ive yet to read about a classy that cant do atleast 1300+ on the core on air!!
