Well.... The first half was so cringe worthy and awkward I was laughing my ass off. The second half was a snooze fest, AMD could have gotten people with personality to present this. Good god, those people were dull.

Some good info to come out of it all, even though the presentation was pretty much fail.

The audio stuff is interesting, basically now you have a sound card on your GPU which also takes load off of your CPU. So not only do you get better sound, but you also get better performance.

All the rest was pretty meh, apart from this Mantle announcement which looks like it will be pretty epic. If it can provide the perfomance gains they claim, then all is good.

Preorders for the R9 290X start on the 3rd October so I guess we will see reviews on performance then.
