Ah it`s not quite what I thought it was.

The console thing was what I thought AMD were edging towards around when they aquired ATI.

You can blame AMD for the misleading PR title. Although I do think that the idea behind GAME! is a step in the right direction, even if only for those new to gaming.

Stick ur dvd/br in the drive, and away u go ? No windows etc ? (probably a nix loader or something)

No lol im an idiot, but from what im seeing now (looking) this is like Nvidias gamer thingy.

Its basically telling you what is necessary for a gaming system in laymans(?) terms

PC gaming for n00bs (as far as pc hardware goes)

ALtho Rast's idea does seem a good way to go

Tbh they could buy some1 like Sega, who`d have a wealth of info on how to get a proper console execution to get a proper thing going.

It's a great idea, but it doesn't have Intel and Nvidia behind it as well, so it won't work

I honestly think having something like the "HD Ready" symbol for gaming machines is a fantastic idea

yeh but its going to turn into a building the cheapest possible machine to classify then wacking that logo onit.. Meaning they will sell loads.. It could work, but it might not..
