AMD confirms that its Next-Gen RDNA architecture is coming in 2020

When is your crash happening? Our systems been rock solid so far, and there's no problem in he Known Issues I can spot that matches what you're describing(Nothing about crashes so severe the PC would restart). Are you sure it's not a power issue?

Some Radeon RX 5700 series graphics users may intermittently experience a black screen while gaming or on desktop. A potential temporary workaround is disabling hardware acceleration in applications running in the background such as web browsers or Discord.

From the oficial reléase notes

This same problem was reported by users back in september

Isn't that different from what you're getting though? That seems to be describing only flashing black screen issues whereas you're getting PC restarts too? Is that not indicative of possibly another issue for you?

What the driver doesn't say, is that that black screen is not recuperable, not even reseting driver by key-combo (ctrl+shift+windows+b i think it was).

The computer stays dead, and reboots. i

my specs are:

Fresh windows 10 pro install (i thought it could be a OS problem and formatted it)
Asus P9x79 Deluxe
E5 1650 v1 at 4,8ghz (rock solid at 1,385v for over 2 years now)
16gb ddr3 2400 mhz hyperX also rock solid
1tb SSD
XFX THICC III 5700XT
LG 32GK650F-B
CORSAIR TX550M GOLD

I use DDU to uninstall btw. I tried another RX 580 8gb (1510 core 2250mem) that i had before for almost a week, with not a single issue even after playing 8 hours straight Borderlands 3.

if it was a power issue it would crash at high load. the RX 5700XT is 100% load at 120hz 120fps 1440p. I can play hours and hours without crash, and randomly, get a black screen and reboot

My drivers are only stock, no anti-lag, no enhanced synch, no nothing, just freesync. Because it seems that with those options on, it crashes much faster, like in 2 hours, probably less.

My monitor also shows a message that says that in 5 minutes it will go power saving (even with Borderlands 3 at full load working) It's as if the monitor didn't know there was activity (which is info shared by the GPU)

Either 2 things: or it's a driver issue (which i'm 100% sure), or i have a defective GPU.

The conclusions in that thread did seem to indicate many had hardware issues in the end, to quote from it:
Refund it. Something is clearly broken with your card if even the 19.12.1 driver makes issues. Did you disabled hardware acceleration in your browsers, Steam, Discord and VLC?

Personally, if I were you, to be on the safe side I'd consider an RMA anyway assuming you're in warranty and it isn't much hassle

i've already made the applyment to RMA it. But guess what?? I'm 100% sure the next one will do the same, because this are driver issues.
