If more places had stock they'd have even more marketshare. Wouldn't mind getting a 9070XT Nitro+ but they are nowhere to be seen.

Well my 9070XT is certainly ahead of a 5080 at times. If AFMF added the same 4x that a 5090 does then mine would be ahead in cyberpunk as at stock clocks with fsr4 afmf anti lag i get about 225fps if i overclocked id be nearer 250fps so add an extra 1.5 onto the 2.5well going by simple maths I'd be closer to 400 vs a 5090 that i see in Daniel owens recent video where the 5090 was getting 330fps but as it stands I'm on par with a 5080 and of course that's not the case in everything but not a surprise that they are selling faster than lighting that's the whole reason i jumped at it to avoid the price hikes cause amd will gain but they cant meet demand for the 80% plus from nvidias absence in the market atm.

Stll nvidia made there choice pump out them H cards for profit 💯

A podcast by Moore's Law Is Dead said that AMD are devoting more and more wafer capacity to the 9000 series. They don't seem happy to just sell X3D processors for high value--they seem intent on taking the market share that's available to them, even if margins are potentially lower.

They simply can't meet demand that's the only thing stopping them taking market share faster any 9070xt under 700 is a good deal in my view it honestly is atm cause if you remember the last time demand was this high even my 6800xt was selling at 1500.

I honestly don't see how they could have done better myself sure set the correct price from the start not the rebate thing.

Thing is they literally sold 2 months of shipped stock in a week and resupplying that the following week is impossible tbh they would need to be 6 months ahead to meet this kind of demand cause the main market company is off doing AI H cards.

Amd need as much as they can produce asap and the issue there is a normal chip runs through a fab on average in a month or two not such a simply process as just saying increase production as even doing that means your many weeks from getting the benifits of that choice.

So honestly AMD i feel should be cautious in just how much they up production and if they then slowly meet demand well they will have more cards at Christmas time.

I don't see the point in buying a 9060/xt as you might as well buy a 7800xt/7700xt unless you feel fsr4 on that grade card will be of value but in my view if that is the reason to wait well I'd honestly say get the higher model cause you're not talking a massive change in price so ok i get some cant afford the higher models but saving for a short time longer far more worth it in the long run.

Realistically, I agree. I don't see how AMD could have done much better.

And yes, it's not simply a matter of emailing TSMC and saying, 'Hey, turn those 9950X3D chips into 9070XT chips will ya. Thanks babe.' It obviously takes time to readjust. My point is, they should and seem to be aiming to.

The 9060XT makes sense for its efficiency (likely seeing as the 9070 is so efficient), RT performance (probably better than a 7800XT), and FS4. Those are huge selling points when we're talking a few quid in price differences. If I can find a 7800XT for a great price, sure, it's worth it. But they are currently €500+. I can't see them going down since availability will worsen over the coming months.

Yeah that’s the thing if the 9600xt is 450 and 9600 400 same way as current myself id still even on a budget try to save and just get a lower end model 9070xt and hold out for an msrp card cause the difference is 2x in dxr vs my 6800xt which is very similar to a 7800xt so from a value point i just don’t see the 9600/xt being an interesting option unless yet lower price like 400 and 350 then i see it would have value but then not my preference tbh

This probably just means of current selling gpus not overall market share. I don't see how they could be at 45% when they started with almost nothing.

Idk cause different type of market in japan most are mobile switch gamers home consoles pc less common due to space id say laptop would be more popular.

But i do hope they actually put out hard data after a month or we at least see this quaters results in April.

Id say the one area they could improve is putting out more solid details than relying on reviews etc and also think about a game bundle like if you put hunter wilds or something fsr4 related bundled then bypass the rebate to me that would make far more sense.

They were slow at getting info out and sure held back on software but thats not really a reason to take so long to talk about them thats literally the only area they went wrong in launching is that information should have been out way before and really more on fsr4 than they did tbh.
