It's quite curious that the vast majority of board failures are ASRocks X870/870E boards, I'm thinking it's not just the bios issue but rather certain board components that ASRock cheaped out on to increase profits as ASRock X670/670E boards seem to be largely unaffected.
I have no faith in ASRock. Every board I've purchased from them or worked with on customer systems has been junk. From entry level to their high-end boards, always had issues.

Comgrats! I'll have to see if there is a newer bios myself; I flashed the newest at the time of building and put it to oneside to save my luxuriant locks. LOL!!! It is perfectly fine out of a case and for ~fortnight in one, then it will start being silly as soon as I think I can lock up the panels and just enjoy it. All part of the fun though and I'll not let it beat me.
