i have a newcastle 3000+ and runs at 2.3ghz stable and i will be trying to overclock more but my ram is keeping me a little back and also the PSU i think

Quality namebrand RAM is definitely needed, and I'm surprised that your Q-tec PSU runs that system at all.

hmm so are q-tec a but steaming pile then?? i saw em quie cheap on overclockers. thought they wd suck.

Yep festering pile they are. Stick with OCZ or someone Davo - yoiu know it!

yeah it really sucks and also the ram which is unbranded altough one stick of the ram is quite good it can run DDR400 @ 5-2-2-2 which is quite good but the other stick only runs @ 8-3-3-3

my mobo is great for overclocking i really like it and btw forgot to mention im running on stock cooling and the cpu overclocked to 2.3ghz runs at 33 Idle and 45load which isn't that bad for stock. Never tested the psu rails because i don't really know how but definetly it's a cheap psu
