Installed last night, going to do a bit of Elite: Dangerous tonight and record some clips at 1080p60, and I'll check out the video quality and any game performance hit.

Tbh the results I got from the Raptr app were pretty good, so if ReLive produces videos of similar quality without the hideous bloat of features I will be a pleased rabbit.

Initially went wrong and was only partially installed. Tried again with the clean option and it went on OK. Not tried Relive yet but performance seemed OK. Will play with it more later.

Despite the name "Chill" AMD are absolutely on fire right now in terms of software. I really do believe they're turning the corner and are heading in the right direction, catching up quickly towards Nvidia and Intel.

Yeah the last couple of releases of Crimson have put Nvidia to shame really.

Spot on footage from ReLive, 2 hours of 1080p60 footage takes up 21gb of hard drive space, very smooth, no obvious compression artifacts, audio and video sync perfectly.

21GB?! That seems like a lot? I'm no streamer so I don't really know what's a good amount, but that's crazy for only 2 hours. You'd need a ton of HDD space

Depends on the selected bit rate.

5 minutes at 1080P 50Mbps in Shadowplay comes to just under 2GB so 60 minutes would be roughly 24GB.

Pretty standard if you want to capture good quality footage.

I want a card that can blend in with my X99 Sabertooth board, No flashy lights, Clean looking and stealthy.

The only lights I want in my system are from the fans and Corsair AIO.

Performance wise I'm going to get the top end single GPU card AMD end up bringing out along with Samsungs Ultrawide 1440P 100Hz Freesync quantum dot display

I'm late to the party again but damn that monitor is a good price for the features.

It still makes me chuckle at the naming of AMD's creation. Freesync.. which is far from free.

However that monitor is sooooo damn nice, it is tempting me over to the red side. Maybe my xmas bonus can go on a new screen with a tasty new AMD GPU in the near future.
