Was wondering if anyone with this RIG, knows about which X17.5 or x18 or x18.5 or x19 is most stable with stock cooler? the latest BIOS update is 1604 I always wanted someone with this rig STOCK coolers can suggest any additional BIOS settings to tweak to get the most out of it.. I just dont want to over do it. I also manually adjusted the CPU Voltage from 1.35 to 1.40 just to make up for tweaking the X factor from 17.5 to x18.50 it took me from 3.2 GHZ to 3.6GHZ :wavey:

You should try it and see mate I'm afraid. Measure temperature, check stability with Prime95 multi-core and play games/benchmark.

There's no easy way of doing it, just patience and the luck of the chip

i was runing a speed test and i noticed the TEMP which is normally 47C idle jump to 53C at what point is the TEMP to HIGH? whats the cut off? i remember someone saying 58c will kill the processor

You're best bet is pretty much as Kempez said, to push and just watch temps until you reach a limit you're happy with.
