amd 11.6 drivers WARNING

just a little heads up for the latest AMD catalyst drivers for june 2011

they do not work

installation is incomplete... trying to uninstall it (after the feck up) = FAIL!!!

after 5 attempts i have reverted back to 11.5

if anyone has any problems un/installing this headache, ask me how to fix it.... i have spent the last 3hrs trying to fix this little catastrophe... WITHOUT a smile on my face

that have been a few blaspheems and curses at the dev team at AMD - i am not a happy bunny... if i was the lead programmer there, a few P45s would be handed out.....

Working fine here.

I read elsewhere though that if you are running more than one monitor you have to switch to one monitor to install 11.6 and then switch back to two after you have installed it.

Worked fine for me, try right-clicking run as adm.... bahaha I kid I kid

Incidentally I had my second monitor disconnected while I updated the drivers and then connected it a day later, very lucky timing

Yea how are them 590s doing with them cheap Chinese VRMs LOL.
