Just a friendly heads-up, UK users should avoid buying anything delicate from Amazon as I start work at the Rugeley warehouse on Sunday and I'm prone to dropping stuff :lol:

Menial job, boring as hell and walking 10+ miles a day (worked there a couple years ago between jobs) but it's work at the end of the day, which is all that matters right now. Things have been pretty rough since I lost my last job in January. When you can't even get a "thanks but no thanks" email response or any feedback when you've applied it's just a kick in the plums :nutkick:

On a happy note, I might be able to finally upgrade in a few months time :biggrin:

How much you think order pickers get at Amazon?! :o Going to be scratching by on minimum wage.

As nice as all that may be (I wouldn't get the Titan though) I could probably fit a toaster in my case and consider it an upgrade.

Lol I worked at this site for a couple months before and got collared just trying to keep my phone on me. Aside the minimum 2 security guards on the warehouse exit with handheld scanners, you have to walk through airport style security scanners/metal detectors to even get to them. All things like digi cams/memory cards/mp3 players etc are in a locked cage in the centre of the warehouse that has around 12 security cameras in the cage alone. So yeah, you WILL get caught :lol:
 
As long as they don't have lasers etc then its feasible.

Yeah it's a crap job, underpaid, under-appreciated and everyone is expendable, but if it's gonna put the money in the bank it has to be done.
If only I had some way of implanting an mp3 player in my skull I'd be set, walking round for 8hrs with no music is so tedious haha.

Remember..... A damaged or dented box could qualify for a discounted price......

Almost all warehouse order pickers know of this.
